2013 Annual Symposium for Pilgrimage Studies: "Pilgrims' Progress: Pilgrimage across Time and Cultures"

The Institute of Pilgrimage Studies in conjunction with the International Consortium for Pilgrimage will hold its 2nd annual Symposium on October 4-6, 2013 at the College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia. The conference will include the following events:

·         Screening of new Canadian documentary “Something Grand” on the Camino de Santiago and a Q&A session with Montréal filmmaker Dr. Matthew Anderson on Friday evening.

·         Public reception on Friday evening at the Muscarelle Museum of Art
·         Paper/poster/roundtable sessions on Saturday (all day) and Sunday (morning only)
·         Keynote address on pilgrimage in the ancient world on Saturday afternoon by Ian Rutherford, Professor of Greek at the University of Reading in the U.K.

Reception for all conference registrants on Saturday evening.

On-site registration will be available for an additional $20 fee, except for undergraduates, who will be allowed to register onsite without penalty.   We plan to hold registration on Friday evening and Saturday morning.  We accept all forms of payment for on-site registrations.
